Activities! Woodcrafting (Gr 5/Gr 6) W26 SR ONLY

We are proud to offer Woodcrafting (Gr 5/Gr 6) classes by Animation KIDZ! Students can sign up for an 8-week session for $175, starting in February. 

Woodcrafting – GRADES 5 & 6 ONLY

Participants embark on a creative journey that blends woodworking, woodburning, and wood art. The workshop begins with hands-on woodworking, where participants build projects such as birdhouses, vehicles, boxes, and more, learning essential carpentry skills like sanding, assembling, measuring, and using various tools. Next, students dive into woodburning, using soldering pens to add custom designs, images, and lettering to their creations.

 Finally, the class explores wood art techniques, incorporating paint, stain, and decorative elements to make each piece truly unique. From crafting functional objects to artistic masterpieces, this program offers a fun and safe environment for older kids to explore their creativity and develop valuable skills. All activities are fully supervised with protective equipment provided to ensure safety and enjoyment!

Senior campus ONLY: Fridays from 2:35 to 3:35

Dates include: Feb 6, 13, 20, 27; Mar 13, 20, 27; Apr 10.

Pick-up: Parents will have a 15-minute grace period to pick up their kids. The instructor will charge $1 per minute after that.

SAHAS profit: 30$/session

3.5% is added to the price for website fees.
